There are many empty office buildings in Utrecht. There is also a high demand for housing. The municipality is therefore committed to transforming the Merwedekanaalzone into an attractive neighbourhood linking the city centre to Utrecht West. The site is currently being developed into a brand new, future-proof residential district with all necessary facilities.

DUQER will meet the demand for new housing by constructing a beautiful 15-storey tower block with a spectacular roof garden and a smaller square apartment building. The offices at 10 Eendrachtlaan will be demolished to make way for the sustainable residential complex, a unique place for living and leisure.

The Concorde residential complex will be located in Merwedekanaalzone subarea 6, a mere five minutes from the city centre.

Construction will begin in late 2020 and is expected to be completed in 2022.
